Parking on roads
Do not park on a road where parking is prohibited; do not park in a bus or loading zone, or on a clearway.
You must pay to park at a parking meter or voucher vending machine but you may then park:
- For a maximum of 30 minutes, where the parking bay has a time limit of less than 30 minutes.
- For a maximum of two hours, where the parking time has a limit of between 30 minutes and one hour.
- For twice the parking time allowed, where the parking time limit is one hour or longer.
These time restrictions also apply to parking bays with a maximum time limit without parking meters / voucher parking.
