We understand that Romania has a Parking Card scheme, but we currently have no information on whether it is the European Model Parking Card.

Parking spaces

Those reserved for a Parking Card holder are marked with the wheelchair symbol.

Do not park if the space is marked with someone's name or a licence plate number.

Where you may use your Parking Card

Romanian Parking Card holder

As we currently have little information about your Parking Card scheme, we are unable to offer you advice about using it outside Romania.

Visitor to Romania

Visitor from another EU / EEA member state – you may use your Parking Card in Romania.

Visitor from outside the EU / EEA – you may use your Parking Card in Romania.

Parking on roads

You may park in a parking space marked with the wheelchair symbol.

There are no other parking concessions available to parking card holders.

Parking in car parks

We are not currently aware of any parking concessions in car parks – check the car park notices or ask an attendant.
